History of Commercial and Residential Cleanup and Restoration

SERVPRO® of Chesterfield along with SERVPRO® of Tri-Cities and SERVPRO® of Newport News, Virginia are independently owned and operated by Andy & Theresa Bahen, who purchased their first SERVPRO® franchise in December 1985. SERVPRO® of Chesterfield was first operated from home. In 1990, they opened a small office in Chesterfield. In just a few years the business outgrew that space, and the Bahens purchased an office/warehouse in Southlake Business Park. SERVPRO® of Chesterfield grew steadily for the next 10 years. In 1995, they purchased SERVPRO® of Newport News, their second franchise. Two years later they expanded once again with the purchase of SERVPRO® of Tri-Cities adding Petersburg, Hopewell, Prince George and Colonial Heights to their service area.

In order to accommodate the growing staff and equipment, a new facility with more than 25,000 square feet was built to specifically address the company’s need for office, warehouse and storage space. Additionally, the location near major highways and interstates offers quick access to any part of Richmond and beyond.

Our Newport News office/warehouse is also well located – close to I64 for easy access throughout Hampton Roads.

Today, all three SERVPRO® franchises--SERVPRO® of Chesterfield, SERVPRO® of Tri-Cities and SERVPRO® of Newport News-- enjoy an excellent reputation among insurance companies, property managers, facility managers and building owners and residents.
